The short version
JourneyDate.in is a free calculator that works out IRCTC advance reservation booking dates. The date you enter is processed entirely inside your own browser — it is never sent to, or stored on, any server. We don't ask you to sign up, and we don't need your personal details to use the tool.
Information we collect
The calculator itself collects no personal information. The journey date you type in is used only to run a calculation on your device and is discarded the moment you close or refresh the page.
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers may automatically log standard technical data when you visit — for example, your approximate location (derived from IP address), browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed. This is aggregate, non-identifying usage data used to understand how the site is performing.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember one thing: whether you prefer light or dark mode. This preference stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
